Coated hard alloy cutting tools are coated with a layer of high hardness material on the hard alloy cutting tool substrate through methods such as chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD). Coated hard alloy cutting tools have higher surface hardness than traditional hard alloy cutting tools. Therefore, when processing high hardness and difficult to machine materials, it has better cutting performance, which to a certain extent improves the traditional hard cutting capabilities and extends the service life of cutting tools. However, after the coating is often damaged, it is difficult to repair the line, and the service life is high, making it unsuitable for use in the processing of large-scale commonly used parts.
